In addition to beautifying your nails, the reinforcement/covering/filling plays an important role.
The material, gel or rubber base, depending on the length of your nails, is placed to cover your natural nails.
During your installation, or your filling, your nail technician will create the apex (or the “convex”). Its role is to absorb the shocks that the nails may undergo.
This apex will move with the regrowth, and create a weight at the free edge.
Beyond 4 weeks, it will no longer be able to fulfill its role.
Daily shocks will then weaken your nails, and encourage breakage and detachment.
By respecting a maximum of 4 weeks between 2 manicures (3 weeks ideally), you will prevent your nails from being damaged, and you will eliminate the risk of fungus linked to peeling.
